A New Roof

We have been needing a new roof for months and we finally got it on this weekend. My family came down on Friday night and we started tearing off the old shingles bright and early Saturday morning. It was a beautiful day and we got a lot done. The storm clouds started rolling in around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. We kept on working until it started to thunder and lightning (and until we got the tar paper on the uncovered roof.) We continued today and got it finished around lunch time.

Thanks again to all those who helped (including the supervisors!).

Now, we've got to finish the siding!
