On Friday, Shaun and I headed to Topeka for the weekend. We stayed the night with my aunt, Bonnie, and worked on the shower decorations. We made a diaper cake and a diaper wreath for my sister, Kristen's shower on Saturday.
We had the shower on Saturday at Martin Tractor (kind of works well since so many of the husbands work there).
On Sunday, we went to church, ate at Coyote Canyon, went back to church, and was finally able to go to Cracker Barrel with the group after church.
Shaun went home Monday morning and left me in Topeka for a couple of days. I was able to join several friends for Ladies' Night Out and ate at Freddy's Frozen Custard and went to see "My Sister's Keeper." Definitely a chic flick, and lots of tears!
Tuesday, I enjoyed some shopping and then Shaun came back up and we celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Red Robin. Can't believe it's been 2 years already!!!!
On Wednesday morning, my mom had surgery and I stayed up at the hospital for a couple of hours. We came back home yesterday afternoon and I am now catching up on lots of laundry!
